The Team


Creative Therapy Health Services is a bright, fun filled clinic dedicated to providing a variety of Occupational Therapy services to the Kitchener-Waterloo region. The skill set of the therapists working at this clinic include:

  • knowledge of the Motor Vehicle Accident Insurance system
  • experience in working with both catastrophic and non-catastrophic cases for persons that have been injured in a Motor Vehicle Accident
  • experience with working with persons with Acquired Brain Injury
  • experience with working with children with a variety of diagnoses including Acquired Brain Injury, Cerebral Palsy, ADD, ADHD, Asperger’s Syndrome, Autism, Developmental Co-ordination Disorder and Sensory Processing difficulties.

Sheri is a creative Occupational Therapist who puts the needs of her clients first. She focuses on putting “fun” into therapy and enjoys developing positive, therapeutic relationships with each of her clients. Sheri has been working in the field of Occupational Therapy for over 30 years.

Sheri graduated from University of Toronto in 1991. Over the years, her career has provided her with a range of opportunities including working in an acute care inpatient hospital setting, and in a vocational rehabilitation setting with the Ontario March of Dimes. She has brought her innovate problem-solving and clinical skills to roles such as Designated Assessment Centre (DAC) assessor and Provincial DAC coordinator for persons who have been in a motor vehicle accident (MVA) and require attendant care services.

More recently her career has focused on the pediatric population and people with complex diagnosis including acquired brain injury. She has worked in the school system providing assessment, treatment and consultation for children with a variety of special needs and diagnoses.

Dedicated to continuing education, Sheri has attended a variety of post-graduate courses, workshops, and conferences including but not limited to Handwriting without Tears, Is it Sensory or Behaviour?, Brain Gym, and Learning Outside the Box

She also keeps updated on the Motor Vehicle Accident Industry regulations especially where it pertains to persons with Acquired Brain Injury. She is often sought after to work on complex catastrophic and non-catastrophic cases due to extensive knowledge of the MVA realm.

Sheri lives in Waterloo with her husband.  Her 3 adult children reside in Waterloo Region as well.

Kendra obtained her Masters in Occupational Therapy degree from Dalhousie University. Using her breadth of experience she works with children, adults and MVA clients.

Kendra resides in the KW area with her husband and son.

Erin fulfills 2 roles at Creative Therapy. First as a therapy assistant, working on collaboration with our occupational therapists to deliver programming to our pediatric client.  In addition Erin is our lead administrator in the office handling client inquiries, scheduling and invoicing.

Erin enjoys spending time in the great outdoors with her dog Reese.

Hailey’s interest in becoming an Occupational Therapist started the University of Guelph where she majored in Psychology with a minored in Family and Child Studies. She then went on to Queens University to obtain her Masters in Occupational Therapy. Hailey has a breadth of client experience including trauma and mental health, MVA, long term care, dimentia and chronic pain. Pediatrics of all ages is a particular interest for Hailey.
Besides her professional skills Hailey is a dog lover, enjoys outdoor activities like hiking, canoeing and paddle boarding. Country music is always close at hand when relaxing.

Patricia is a bright, enthusiastic and dynamic member of the Creative Therapy team who performs assessments, develops treatment plans and helps clients implement those plans. Patricia completed her  Masters in Occupational Therapy from The University of Western Ontario and is able to quickly establish rapport with her clients to encourage and motivate them to achieve their goals. She utilizes her innovative skills to develop new programming for the various camps and classes at Creative Therapy.

Brad is an energetic and enthusiastic Occupational Therapist who also demonstrates a very patient and calming personality.  He predominantly works with our pediatric clients quickly developing a strong rapport creating allowing him to work very effectively at an individuals treatment objectives.  Brad graduated with an MSc. in Occupational Therapy from the University of Toronto in 2020.  Prior to that he obtained a BSc. in Biology from Wilfrid Laurier University.  

In addition to establishing his career as an Occupational Therapist Brad is active in a variety of sports including hockey and golf and also ran the Toronto Marathon in 2019.  He enjoys spending time with his dog “Molson” which is a cross between an Australian Shepherd and a Catahoula Leopard

Kayla obtained her Masters in Occupational Therapy in 2022 from Glasgow Caledonian University in the UK. Her experience with the National Health Service in Scotland has provided Kayla with a unique perspective on delivering occupational therapy services to her clients.  While awaiting accreditation with the regulatory college in Ontario, Kayla is providing a range of services as an Occupational Therapy Assistant researching new treatment strategies for Creative Therapy.  Kayla graduated from the University of Ottawa in 2015 with a BSc in Psychology.  Kayla, is also trained in Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy (OMT) and is the lead therapist at CTHS in provision of OMT to our clients.  Kayla’s calm and nurturing personality are a key strength in helping clients overcome anxiety challenges in a therapy setting.

In addition to her skills as a therapist, Kayla is an avid Yoga practitioner, dancer (ballet, pointe, modern) and outdoor adventurer.
