Open House Event
Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy (OMT) is a new service here at Creative Therapy Health Services. This is a new type of therapy unfamiliar to many people so we wanted to take the opportunity to provide more information to help clients understand whether this is appropriate for their situation.
What is OMT?
Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy is an interdisciplinary practice that works with the muscles of the lips, tongue, cheeks and face and their related functions.
Who can benefit from OMT?
- Trouble sleeping (sleep disordered breathing, obstructive sleep apnea)
- Excessive chewing, sucking, drooling
- Mouth breathers
- Food sensitivities
- Attention deficit disorder
- Grind teeth
- Poor posture
- Jaw, head or neck pain
